Oakroom relocated during COVID-19
Oakroom was previously located in the BELLAVITA department store. Known only to those in the know, this extremely famous store is a leader in Taiwan's men's shoe and clothing market, and is one of Taiwan's leading select shops, well-known in Japan as well. It relocated during the COVID-19 pandemic and has now relocated to the Zhongshan area, where it has reopened as a street-front store.
The building now has a retro feel, and while the previous luxury boutique feel was still nice, the new facade has more depth and a sense of history.

Although the store is smaller, it is designed so that customers can take their time looking around the products.
Alden's selection remains as extensive as ever.
Of course, the lineup of classic British men's shoes, including John Lobb, Crockett & Jones, and Edward Green, is as impressive as ever.
Overall, the selection of men's shoes remains the same, but the clothing and accessories such as shirts and ties seem to have been narrowed down even further. Considering the size of the shop, the emphasis on shoes in the portfolio is likely a welcome development for the men's shoe crowd. That said, Oakroom's spirit is evident in the fact that they have a full range of products, as shown below. As can be seen from the walking sticks on display, this is a store that is full of the charm of a long-established store.
